Park Hours: Dawn to Dusk
This form reserves the Main St. Park pavilion for private events with less than 50 people. If your event is open to the public and/or you expect 50 or more people, special approval is required to determine whether the facility or nearby residents would be adversely affected before by the event. This reservation does not prohibit public use of the rest rooms or water fountain.
• Park closes and restrooms are locked at sunset.
• Dogs must be kept on a leash. Pet owners are responsible for removing their pet’s solid waste from the park.
• Please place trash in trash receptacles. Household garbage prohibited.
• No alcoholic beverages or illegal substances allowed on park property.
• No smoking or nicotine products allowed.
• Profanity, loud music, reckless or bad behavior is not allowed.
• Keep bikes, trikes and scooters on the sidewalks and off grass or walking trail.
• No motorized vehicles allowed in the park.
• Cutting, picking or destruction of plant life or property is prohibited.
• No solicitation allowed or commercial activity of any kind allowed.
• Decorations – If decorations are used, do not use tape on doors or painted surfaces and remove any decorations or residue before you leave the premises.
• BOUNCE HOUSES, GRILLS, COOKING ON SITE, DIGGING OR DRIVING STAKES INTO THE GROUND IS PROHIBITED WITHOUT WRITTEN PRIOR APPROVAL. A $500 FINE COULD BE ASSESSED FOR THESE VIOLATIONS.
• Video surveillance will be used to prosecute violators of park rules and City of Moultrie ordinances.
• Please call MCCPRA at 229.668.0028 for emergencies or for disagreements over rental times. If calling after regular business hours please choose the emergency extension. For all other emergencies not related to rental times please dial 911.
• Pavilion reservations are available by calling the Recreation office at (229) 668-0028. “Drop in” groups/events must vacate the shelter if the shelter is reserved and the MCCPRA Reservation Form is produced.
• Reservation fee is $30 for two hours. All reservation fees are non-refundable.
My signature below verifies that I have read, understood, and will assure that my guests will obey the above rules and I assume responsibility of rule violations resulting from my reservation. I understand that the City of Moultrie, Colquitt County, and Moultrie-Colquitt County Parks and Recreation Authority staff and associates will be held harmless for claims resulting from our use.
